Taste of Christmas Evenings

Our much loved Taste of Christmas Evening is back! A chance to sample the very best of our festive food and drink. The farm shop will be packed with local producers sharing tasters of their wonderful creations, alongside plenty of seasonal cheer. Not to mention mulled wine and our famous Croots homemade mince pies too.
We will be hosting two dates this year –
Thursday 13th & Thursday 27th November, 4.30pm – 8:00pm.
Free to attend, come and enjoy: –
  • Local Suppliers (from cakes, jams, cheese to seasonal tipples)
  • Festive Music at 7pm
  • Horsebox open with hot drinks, food and snacks
  • Stories with Mrs Claus + children’s activities

  •          Grandma Wild’s (Yorkshire) – traditional biscuits and rich fruit cakes, baked with heritage recipes.
  •          Crew Deck (Ashbourne) – artisan fudge makers offering indulgent handmade treats.
  •          Cressco – showcasing a wide range of fine suppliers, from sweet delights to savoury favourites.
  •          Carron Lodge (Lancashire) – award‑winning farmhouse cheeses,
  •          Park View Honey (Weston Underwood, Derbyshire) – pure, local honey produced with care from well‑kept hives, bringing natural sweetness to the festive table.
  •          Croots Farm Shop (Derbyshire) – our very own handmade pork pies, scotch eggs, and luxury mince pies.

At this busy time of year, many of our wonderful suppliers are hard at work producing the delicious treats we all love. While some won’t be able to join us in person, we’ll still be proudly showcasing their fabulous creations:

  •          The Bittersweet Chocolate Co. (Derbyshire) – indulgent handmade chocolates and truffles, including their signature salted caramels and whisky truffles.
  •          Matthew Walker Christmas Puddings (Heanor, Derbyshire) – the world’s oldest Christmas pudding maker, crafting rich, traditional puddings since 1899.
  •          Rendles Fine Foods – artisan pâtés and all‑butter cheese savouries, perfect for festive entertaining.
