It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden and untimely passing of Steve Croot, co-founder of Croots Farm Shop.
Devoted husband to Kay, and loving father to Nicole and Jamie, Steve died on Sunday 15th August, at home, after being taken ill.
Family, friends and the whole team at Croots Farm Shop are devastated by the loss of Steve, who was well-known in Derbyshire for his passion for local produce, his support for the community and his dedication to helping charities.
In accordance with family wishes, Croots Farm Shop remains open as normal. We appreciate your support and understanding at this difficult time. Please bear with us, as we try to come to terms with our loss.
As well as his immediate family, Steve leaves a wider family in the UK and the USA who are mourning his passing.
Funeral arrangements will follow in due course.
A book of condolence is being opened in the shop for any customers who would like to pay their respects.
