We are delighted to be bringing back our ever popular Open Farm Sunday on Sunday 12th June 2022 from 11am to 4pm! The day will be a great chance for people of all ages to learn more about the workings of a farm, and activities include:
‘Ask a farmer’ with local farmer Philip Langton talking about how he rears his sheep and gets the fantastic quality that he supplies us with. Philip, from Moorpool Farm, has been a regular champion at the local Fatstock shows and regularly gets the top prices for his lambs in local markets, so he knows a lot about sheep farming!
Sheep shearing demonstration with Bernard Archer where you can feel and fold a fleece
Meet the Shire Horses and see the two new foals and learn about them
