September always feels like a bit of a gear shift. With the weather starting to change, the horse shows have virtually all finished, the kids going back to school or college and for us thoughts start turning towards how we deliver a great Christmas for our customers. Don’t get me wrong..we started talking to our suppliers and sourcing our range a few months ago, but now we have to ensure that our online shop is ready for orders, our hamper offer is all put together, our store room is ready for deliveries and our events plan is finalised!! So we’ve been working away on all these things, so expect to see our final Christmas offer all live on the website in early Oct (we are aiming for 6th Oct but might be live slightly earlier hopefully).
This week we had a professional photographer here taking photos of some of our autumn winter dishes for the new menu, including Sunday lunch which will be making a welcome return in October too. If you are looking forward to seeing our new festive ranges then keep 13th and 27th November from 4.30 till 8pm free in your diary as these are our Taste of Christmas events where you will get chance to taste the finest food and drink from many of our local suppliers. Finally we are also working hard on the launch of a new Croots loyalty club, so look out for more information on this very soon!!
