British Pie Week is the first week in March from Monday 4th March through to Sunday 10th March. The British Pie Awards is at the centre of the week with judging on the 6th March and the Awards Lunch on the 10th March.
This year we have entered 3 of our pies including two new flavours, Steak, Mushroom & Cracked Black Peppercorn and Lamb & Vegetable Balti Curry. Our Steak & Ale Pie and Mince Pies are both previous Gold Medal winners.
Pies have been with us for centuries. There’s a claim that the Egyptians and Romans had pies, maybe not like we would recognise, but they most likely had pasties similar to those of today.
The British love a pie, in fact the Pie is our unique contribution to International Cuisine. We have developed this delicacy more than any other nation to give us the range and styles of pies that we know and love today.

To celebrate British Pie Week, we are featuring each of our delicious Croots Pies in our Pie of The Day Promotion. There’s 10% off a different flavour each day, culminating with our ever-popular Gold Medal winning Steak & Ale over the weekend.
