Hello, and a warm Christmas welcome to everyone.
At this time of year, as well as celebrating together with family and friends we often turn our mind to giving gifts to our loved ones. As many of you will know, it’s been a very difficult few months at Croots with the loss of Steve in the summer, but with the help of our amazing support team we have been reflecting on the wonderful gifts that Steve left us – both our family and the Croots team. I finally found the courage to read the condolence book a few weeks ago and it was truly heartwarming to read your wonderful tributes to Steve that talk about the gifts he left us, in particular his kindness and generosity, his love of nature and farming and his commitment to the local community.
It goes without saying that we couldn’t have had all the success we have had this past year without all of you and we want to thank our customers, past, present, and future.
We officially close our doors at 3pm on the 24th of December for a well-deserved break for three days. The Croots team have been absolutely amazing and we enjoyed a great Christmas party back in November to celebrate.
As a family business, we’re very committed to ensuring you get the very best quality local foods and we have been busy collating all your orders from the farmers and producers who have been working so hard to supply us with their produce. With all the Covid related uncertainty, we also want to ensure our team can work safely and that you feel safe whilst shopping or collecting from us, so we will continue with the usual measures such as sanitising, masks, regular cleaning, one way system etc to reassure you on this too.
All that remains to say, is to wish you all a very merry and safe Christmas and a happy new year!
Best wishes Kay
